Eduardo Atalah Beresi

With more than 25 years of experience, he works mainly in the area of real estate law, where he has been responsible for advising public institutions, private companies and individuals, both in the study and acquisition of real estate assets, as in the development of lots, houses and condominiums.
His practice also extends to the analysis and execution of highly complex contracts in matters of infrastructure, public works concessions and expropriations, areas in which he has advised the MOP, Tax Inspections and engineering companies.He has also broadened his areas of expertise to family matters, where he has given all his dedication to overcome the complexities both of assets and personal resulting from the breakdown of couples.
It is he, on the other hand, who leads the litigation area, corresponding in that role to appear before the courts in the defense and representation of the interests of our clients.
He also attended postgraduate studies such as "Economics for Infrastructure" in the Faculty of Economics of the University of Chile, "Protection Action in Jurisprudence" and "ILO Convention 169", both in the Faculty of Law of La Diego Portales University.

Dr. Monika Broecking
Managing Partner, Consultant for all categories, financial and business-related Specialist, Expert in real estate matters
After completing her legal training, Dr. Broecking continued as a banking trainee. She started her career becoming the first woman in the whole of North Germany to run a bank branch at Commerzbank AG. After a few years, she made a career change into the publishing world. After a brief training period, she took over the advertising management of Hamburger Morgenpost in Gruner & Jahr. Her professional experience benefited her own company when she founded the management consultancy Dr. Broecking & Partner with branches in Hamburg and Dresden. She worked as a freelance speaker for the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Hamburg and regularly organized daily and weekly seminars for managers in the fields of business administration, marketing and control. In addition she took over the management of the Wirtschaftsinstitut Hamburg, a training centre for business seminars and software applications from Microsoft.
Years later she emigrated to New Zealand and once again founded a company and worked as director of ECC European Consulting Company, Auckland, New Zealand, a company that offered immigrants a job placement service. This task required close cooperation with immigration consulting firms and immigration authorities. Her personal commitment went far beyond the contractual agreement with her clients.
Today she works as a German lawyer in our firm, where she has focused on advising foreigners during their immigration process and granting them a general assistance that facilitates their integration into Chilean society. She also provides legal advice to our Chilean-German clientele.

Peter Schefer
Senior Consultant for all categories, Specialist for investment and financial matters
With more than 30 years of practical Banking Experience, Peter Schefer covers various finance aspects for our clients. In his long-standing career he worked for leading Swiss banks in higher management positions, such as UBS and Credit Suisse as well as Finance Boutiques, where he consulted together with his teams clients in different jurisdictions. He was amongst others responsible for some of the largest External Asset Managers with assets under management of several Bio. US-Dollar. He is Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA) and he graduated in the Executive Program of the Swiss Finance Institute. Additionally, his consulting skills include the areas of immigration services, preparation and verification of business cases for company start-ups and real estate financing.

Carla Binfa Moren
Lawyer, Senior Consultant
Specialized in matters of public law and regulated markets, area to which she has dedicated more than 18 years, mainly in matters related to the regulation of land and maritime transport. Carla Binfa has excelled for her ability for legal interpretation. She has advised National and International Public Organizations, as well as major companies, in the analysis, negotiation, elaboration and implementation of highly complex contracts. It is important to mention her participation in the negotiation of a technical assistance loan that the State of Chile requested from the World Bank.
In recent years she has also specialized in providing comprehensive advice to companies, mainly in the labor area.
In the area of litigation, she has stood out for her capacity to define and plan the legal and negotiation strategies that achieve the client´s objectives. She was part of the training workshop “Cumplimiento de la Legislación Ambiental: Reparación de Daños del Medio Ambiente ", within the framework of the Environmental Cooperation Project between the United States and Chile, and in the "Enforcement Capacity - Building Study Tour for Chilean Environmental Officials and Judges ", organized by the United States of America, within the framework of the Free Trade Agreement and conducted by the Environmental Law Institute. In the academic field, she has worked as a professor for the Universidad Católica de Chile in training courses in La Araucanía and as a professor of the lecture of Public Transport Regulation , at the Alberto Hurtado University.
